About Sound Web Design
My name is Ago. I'm the owner and developer behind Sound Web Design. I live in Seattle. I've been a software engineer professionally for the past 7 years, and I've been programming for more than 15 years. I used to work on optimizing progams and programming languages at Microsoft and IBM, but I wanted something where I was able to interact with more people rather than just developers. My years at these Fortune 100 companies taught me how to structure projects, meet strict deadlines and communicate clearly with everyone involved in the projects I was working on.
I noticed that a lot of small businesses had websites that were either extremely outdated or looked like they were cobbled together over some weeknights and the owner gave up after getting frustrated. I also found that a lot of business owners didn't realize the importance of their websites; they weren't aware of how websites drive leads and how potential clients perceive their business based off of their sites.
Given my background in program optimization, I wanted to help business owners optimize their websites and squeeze the most performance out of them possible. I also wanted to help them learn how to use the web and their sites to their advantage instead of letting it sit there while other businesses took clients that could have been theirs. That's why I started Sound Web Design; to create affordable sites for small businesses that look like a world-class agency designed and built them.
